littledragon_79says...Am I starting to see a pattern? Is the GOP/Tea Party trying to discredit all female politicians by showcasing their "rising stars" like Sarah Palin, Sharron Angle, Jan Brewer, etc.? Preemptive strike against Hilldawg? Or am I just seeing more obvious cases of politicians who are borderline retarded (which is nothing new).
NetRunnersays...@littledragon_79 I'm pretty sure it's not that, especially since we're pretty much done with the possibility of Hillary being president, and probably with her being a Senator, too.
I think the GOP is trying to highlight their women because they think it's a counter to criticism of their general lack of diversity. It's sort've a "see, we're diverse, we have both kinds of 'real' Americans, white men and white women!"
Yogisays...Down 67% dang that's a Ton. Think we could work on something else like say Education for a bit? Also she should be immediately fired for something like that. I'm sorry but that kind of connection is completely inexcusable, and shouldn't be legal in any way.

There's the blog post.
Also Rachel Maddow says she is "Totally insulated from the advertising decisions" or whatever. It's bullshit. She wouldn't have her show if she didn't understand how it worked on some level. She knows what she's not supposed to do, and if she didn't there'd be subtle clues given to her.
