There are an estimated 3,800 homeless youth in New York City. About 1,500 of them identity as lesbian, gay, bisexual or transgender. Government funding provides fewer than 200 shelter beds for all homeless children in the city.

They chose to tell their parents they are gay or such. For the most part they would have know how the parent would have reacted.

Life is tough they need to suck it up, get a job and become self reliant.

Why should taxpayers pay for their food and shelter?
