Booyah!!!
That was shot in Toronto, in front of Union Station atop the Royal Bank Plaza.

Maybe I lack faith in kids but I would be scared of him ending up like this guy:
Hot Dog City (Blog Entry by Sarzy)
Making a film is as good of an excuse to get some street meat as any.
I enjoyed picking out the locations: Yonge/Bloor, Yonge/Shuter, Bay/Queen, Union Station to name a few... I may just have to cruise over to my guy in front of Sick Kids & grab one now!

>> ^Deano:
So (question for YouDieJoe) any problems filming? No one asking you to stop or trying to damage your camera? No release forms to sign?
Very nice by the way.
I was approached by security to sign a waiver (which I did), to say they are not responsible for my well being, or my gear, and that I wouldn't shoot on the actual train platforms. Other than that, everyone just kept about their business.
Thanks!

Music for Train Stations eh? I liked it.
Is the white balance off? Artistic choice to make it feel warmer?
Shooting with natural light only so the yellow cast is part of the "look"

Hmm, that´s what I thought. But thanks for the info!

the audio is very low quality, it's mono, 8bit so it's best to look at the camera as not having audio with anything more than a scratch track.

Hey,
just wondering: Does the D90 record sound at all and if it does, is it any good?
I am thinking about getting one of these. Everything I read about it so far seems awesome.

How long can you shoot for exactly? Whats the memory consumption and what format is the video spit out at?

The D90 saves the files as AVI, Motion JPEG codec. Files are roughly about 100MB per minute of video. The camera currently allows you to shoot 5 minutes max per video clip, this is reported to be a safety feature to protect the internal parts.

>> ^MarineGunrock:
Did the janitor look at you funny when you recorded her?
She looked more annoyed than any thing else, "I have a job to do and you and your camera need to move out of my way" was what I imagined she was saying. But the end result looked great so...

Wow, I didn't know they actually did. Guess w/ talent like that the match was obvious

You are right, those kids show open for Alison Krause. Here is Sierra, in the 6th grade, on stage with Alison and Union Station.
