Onboard - Unbelievable road rage attack

Back on topic...

The guy assaults a TV camera while claiming that the video is fake... as he turns himself into a police station.

Steroids or amphetamine, you decide. Another mass shooter in the making maybe.

Well, perhaps we shouldn't care? I can tell you why I posted this vid though, it's because there was so much discussion on @mintbbb's original post (look at the related link she put in), and I was curious to see earlier footage (or pictures) to compare. Since I was curious, I thought other people might be too.

From looking at related images, her looks are certainly less freakish that some of the other female competitors... she has gone from looking a bit boyish to having a quite pleasant but apparently male face. Some of the other ladies who do this look rather weird.

I did see a discussion on a bodybuilding forum which suggested that the cost of the steroids would far exceed any possible prize money.

One thing that does surprise me is that nobody has mentioned the rather more famous chemically enhanced Austrian bodybuilder.

I have no idea who this person is or why we should care about a masculine looking female?

Get UNREAL - Candy UNJUNKED

We've had a natural brand of lollies here in Aus for a while, they are pretty good, they don't use organic ingredients though so it's awesome to hear about those being used. @gorillaman some preservatives are pretty nasty (e.g. the nitrates used to preserve many meat products), and there is plenty of legitimate science looking at GMO foods, this article looks in detail at many of the safety issues if you're interested:
http://onlinelibrary.wiley.com/doi/10.1046/j.1365-313X.2001.01119.x/full

Plus there's the fact many GMO crops have substantial roundup residue, certainly not something I would want to eat too much of. Lastly, there is the issue of cross-contamination, once that happens there is no turning back, and the proof many GMO crops are safe is rather thin on the ground (the safety studies are generally very poorly designed and implemented).

My only comment on the ingredients of the lollies would be that agave is not a good sugar substitute or sweetener - it's often sold in health food stores as such, however it's extremely high in fructose, so much so that it's essentially HFCS on steroids.

Hardest Pushup In The World?

yellowc says...

1% of the world is like 70million people. So yeah, of the people in the world eligible to even attempt it, 70million isn't a small number, not really as uncommon as the percentage leads you to believe.

Even though yes, the statement is indeed pointless as his method of verification is very highly likely completely anecdotal.

In my opinion full planche push ups are harder because of the balance involved. Yes I can do both. This just takes some practice to lock up the middle of your body. I don't believe his one percent comment. Trainers in my gym have their clients work up to these in a couple weeks. Maybe they pump an aerosol form of steroids through my gyms ventilation system.

Yeah, I can do these too, but planches are quite a bit beyond me.

Bigger Stronger Faster (Steroid Documentary)

Yogi says...

I don't think we should be wasting money on Federal Government programs that hunt down athletes for taking steroids. You're the FBI shouldn't you be protecting us from Terrorists?!

I don't care how against steroids you are, you have to agree that it's stupid that the FBI gets involved in this shit. It's stupid that Congress calls up athletes to testify about this shit. Fuck off and do something that MATTERS!

I found it had a realist narrative. It gave what I'm assuming are facts about steroid use, and compared them in terms of relative danger and public perception with performance enhancing drugs in non-sport fields. On the whole I'd say the conclusion most people would draw from the movie alone is that steroids are kinda okay. That could either be because that is a logical conclusion, or that the director was biased. The fact that a certain conclusion comes out of something doesn't indicate bias. It may indicate a lack of general knowledge beforehand.

That said, one of the stats was clearly henpecked: when he gave the list of drugs that lead to emergency room visits, naturally drugs that are more commonly used are going to cause more emergency room visits. I don't think it's contentious that heroin is worse for an individual than alcohol, but alcohol is still #1 in emergency admissions because of its prevalence. So steroids down at #142 or whatever doesn't mean it's safer than Aspirin. Same with the stat comparing number of deaths. To be meaningful, those numbers have to be scaled with the prevalence of their use in the population, and it would also be nice to see them weighted by amount of use. I'm betting the 3 deaths attributed to steroids were by mega-juicers.>> ^Kofi:

I really didn't like this doco. There is an underlying apologist narrative for steroid use that fails to acknowledge many of the implications that go along with the practice.
