Shannon Sharpe Rips the Dolphins' Locker Room Culture
Heh, oh you Americans, you get so very po-faced about racism. Where's that clip of John Cleese talking about confusing seriousness with solemnity when you need it.
Perhaps, just perhaps, I was just amused at the idea of a racial epitaph and wasn't interested in subjugating his whole race? Perhaps I realise everyone has blind spots in their vocabulary that come and bite them occasionally, and it's all the funnier for having been in a very serious and impassioned speech? Perhaps not everything is about race?
The implication is that he doesn't know the words he's using. That is, they are implying he's dumb. That's a racist implication.
Why laughing during something serious isn't disrespectful
That was a short part of this speech:

And the rest of it is just as good, unfortunately it seems youtube killed it.

Henry Rollins: The One Decision that Changed My Life Forever
>> ^Stormsinger:
I like listening to Henry Rollins almost as much as I like listening to Kevin Smith, and for many of the same reasons. These two men are witty, articulate, and they just "get it". Every single talk I've heard from either of them has always contained some little nugget I hadn't previously considered.
This! I don't know why people hate Kevin Smith soo much, whenever I hear the guy talk I'll listen forever. Same with Louis CK when he's just on a radio show or doing an interview...or John Cleese...OR Stephen Fry! Goddammit too many interesting people!
John Cleese's Comedy Heroes (Part 5)
This video is filled with awesome. I was about to say, that if only there was cream on top.. however then, cleese gets a pie to the face.
So they installed a "Push to add drama" button in Belgium...

Improv Everywhere just got upstaged big time!
@Yogi Just the French portion of the Belgians then? Nothing to say about the considerable Dutch and German speaking segments of Belgium then?
There's a reason Belgium is central to European politics. Anyhow, I just wanted to pull you up about your racist comment and point out that French-speaking Belgians only account for a portion of overal Belgian society
Fine, how about I called them "Miserable Fat Belgian Bastards!"
You are in good company sir and/or madam!

36 Brilliant Minutes of John Cleese on Creativity
I can't concentrate on what he's saying. My brain is hardwired to start laughing as soon as I hear Cleese's voice. Of all of my heroes, Cleese is the only one I wouldn't want to meet, because no matter what he was talking about, I'd be unable to stop cracking up and I'd humiliate myself.
[Edit: But I'm sure it's good, so I'll give him the benefit of the doubt and upvote.]

A sketch written by the great John Cleese himself!

I can't help but feel this is not John Cleese's best work.

Anyone here from Kent?
Lee Mack is as fast witted as they come, probably the fastest wit i've seen. On panel shows, talk shows, etc. he is guaranteed hilarity. I'm not surprised Cleese liked him, he's gifted.
