HILARIOUS!!!
Ziegler himself is now calling out the hypocrisy of those in his party who are calling for him to step down for (allegedly) raping the woman he and his puritanical book burning wife often had 3 way sex with, but who didn’t call for Trump to step down from his candidacy and party leadership when he was found guilty of raping a woman, but it’s no surprise since you didn’t care when Trump was bragging about routinely sexually abusing women and 14 year old young girls (look it up, he bragged repeatedly in public about miss teen USA contestants he told he had an obligation to sleep with and repeatedly forced his way backstage to watch undress while he owned the pageant, more than once on Howard Stern) on tape, broadcast, and it was public knowledge before he was elected in the first place.
Also don’t forget Trump’s friend Roger Stone who is a willing cuckold who put adds on swinger sites looking for “huge hung black Cock” to have deep hard nasty gangbang sex with his wife while he watched.
Yes, Trump’s (complete lack of) morality is now the official GOP position direct from the actual party leadership…immorality deviancy and debauchery are officially main features of the GOP, not minor issues.

PS- Thursday Trump lost his NY appeals of both the summary judgement of guilt and the financial monitoring agreement he’s already violated y secretly transferring $40 million out of the state. Expect more charges….much worse charges than Hunter is facing for exponentially greater and blatantly intentional crimes.

The chairman of the Florida Republican Party Christian Ziegler is under investigation by the Sarasota Police Department over allegations that he sexually abused (raped) a woman with whom he was allegedly having a menage a trois with, along with his wife, who happens to be a founder of the super religious “please think of the children” Moms for Liberty Group.

Grand Old Party of debauchery…all too often real physical hypocritical debauchery by puritanical fascists with non consensual partners, not imaginary insulting fantasy stories made up by idiots. (Pelosi’s husband’s boyfriend, etc)

His story is this is a fake story created for fame, to do political damage, or to extort money…the problem being she reported it to police Oct 2 and has kept it 100% private and has not filed any lawsuits, so so far is not looking for fame, to do political damage, or money at all. She’s looking for privacy and protection from her rapist boyfriend.

High School Senior Takes Book Banners To School

luxintenebris jokingly says...

THE FITNESS OF THE ARGUMENT
sure it's up to the public to scan each and every book to insure that kids aren't exposed to harmful material. gee if only there was a way to hire someone professional to do this.

- most librarians are parents themselves. can 'we' trust they know their business? after all, THEY went to school to EDUCATE themselves to KNOW the difference.

WHAT INDOCTRINATION IS:
- can there be a better example of who are the baddies in this regard? book banning is akin to book burning. i.e. the milieu of Adolph, Mao, and the 'Kim' family...so*through clenched teeth* what the f*ck do think 'indoctrination' IS?!!! the r e m o v a l of books is the attempt of controlling minds NOT KEEPING VERY GOD DAMN BOOK ON THE SHELF!!! note the examples.

WHY IT'S FEEBLE EXCUSE
most parents haven't fallen for this tactic 'cause they know it's more of an attempt to divide than a drive of the divine. this ruse tried to get a foothold here but ran into a brilliant educational administration. they sent out flyers for parents to sign so THEIR kid(s) could access the school library at will. OTHERWISE the god-gifted had to preapprove any book for THEIR children. (Imagine it was a lot of paperwork [& actually parenting] for them. heh-heh)

FINAL MIC DROP
Try reading this...https://docs.google.com/viewer?a=v&pid=sites&srcid=c3Jjcy5rMTIuY2EudXN8bXMtd2VsY2hlbHxneDo1NTM2OGE2ZTMyMDlmZDAx ...at least try to get to "where is your GOD now?"

THEN

tell me about your fears of INDOCTRINATION.

Hello! Please regard this as a passionate plead for understanding & less of a personal attack. Can't help the *tartness* - as your belief is more awful than my tone. & don't know everything, but obviously more than thou when it comes to this subject.

Lol. Turns out the Florida book banning session by Desantis was based not on the books or anything in them, but a supplemental worksheet posted online by “Joe” that had clearly been edited poorly to add things like Maya Angelou being sexually abused by her parents to math problems. Not even remotely CRT even by the fake definition the right uses….but enough for Republicans to start book burning.

Actually the math part of it is before the blatantly fake non sequitur word problem, “Y equals X plus two, three X plus six Y equals 12. Angelou was sexually abused by her mother's blank at age eight, which shaped her career choices and motivation for writing.”

That’s the example given by Desantis to excuse the book bannings. It’s a blatant fake, a fake about math books in Missouri, not Florida.

Your people. Anti education, anti math, anti reality, anti truth. You must be proud.

Edit: I wonder how long it will take you to solve that 4th grade math problem. I’m embarrassed to say it took me over 2 seconds….including reading time.

Three-Minute Video Explaining the Common Core State Standard

newtboy says...

You came up before common core, so what’s your excuse?

CRT is another red herring….it’s a law school class misrepresented as a movement to teach white children their ancestors and parents are evil. Total nonsense the right created just to have something to be angry about.
Now the same people want to erase any mention of slavery, Jim Crow, segregation, red lining, etc as evil anti white “CRT”….banking on the idea that those who don’t know history are doomed to repeat it.

Not surprising to hear your support for modern day book burning.

My kids cam up though common core and it is a mess.

DeSantis is doing a fair job. Don't need CRT or other BS slanted course work.

There may have been many "other" reasons for the war but the core reason, the main reason and thus one can genuinely say the CAUSE of the war was slavery. It was going to happen eventually no matter what so long as we had founding documents with lines like "all men created equal" in them. Eventually enough people would look around and start to question just what the double standard was all about. The powerful have never been ones to relinquish it once gained, and anyone with enough money to own slaves had a fair amount of power as well. In the end so long as one side was unwilling to give up something this was going to happen. There serves little point in blowing all the smoke around with "oh there were other reasons too", this only serves as a distraction.

There were other reasons for WW2 but are you really going to try and argue that book burning was just as important a reason for the WW2 as the Holocaust? Or the conquering any country they felt like? Because that's exactly what all this "other reasons" crap comes out like. I've disliked Paul for a while now, his old Newsletters only fueled the fire and this just confirms it.

I actually agree, business and government certainly isn't exempt from hypocrisy and targeted ridicule. As historian Howard Zinn stated "Dissent is the highest form of patriotism."

More on topic with this thread..

The problem is the mass media these days is so preoccupied by issues that have little effect on the well being of the nation or the well being of society at large. Example. Such book burnings. They focus on one wacko Florida preacher. When he doesn't burn the Koran.. they portray a massive sigh of relief and a victory for civilization. Meanwhile.. on youtube.. hundreds or thousands of books are burned and videos are posted. Not even a whimper on the airwaves. Go figure.

I enjoyed reading your reply, Tonk. Well said.
I admit, I do bash religion, but there is just too much hypocrisy, inconsistency, and lack of reason in it to leave it alone.

In that statement you can also replace "religion" with "government", "the legal system", "organized sports" or "business".

I was like, "Dude, you have no Quran!"

kronosposeidon says...

There are times when I actually want these idiots to burn the Koran, ONLY because people who burn books of any kind come off as the most ignorant motherfuckers on the planet.

However, book burning would definitely bother me if it were government-sanctioned, a la Third Reich. Shit, the Texas State Board of Education might as well have burned history and science books.

I wouldn't worry about one idiot burning a book. I'd worry more about our government taking good books away from our kids.
A nation of morons --> a nation of slaves. One easy step.
>> ^blankfist:

Who cares if some goofy pastor wants to burn a book? Look, you can go online and find countless of examples of Islamic extremists burning flags and bibles and whatever else. It's stupid to burn a book, but it's even stupider and petty to let it bother you.
But if you burned an Amazing Fantasy #15 we'd have to talk about that.

What has God done to eradicate homelessness, disease, suffering, starvation? He could snap his magical fingers and *poof* it is gone! But.. the more logical answer is.. he has done nothing because he doesn't exist. Or one could say. "He created homelessness, disease, suffering, and starvation." Probably to make some sort of illogical point that we can't quite articulate, because of his "Mysterious ways" or some such bunk. The "mysterious ways" argument essentially translates into "I don't know, nor do I care to find out why because I lack any capacity to reason. Any instinct to question as a result been subdued out of a fear of ending up in some sort of subterranean firey underworld for an eternity... hosted by rather unfriendly horned red-skinned demons that bugger the local denizens. Very much like Catholic priests in a dark sauna with choir boys.
