This is a great band that isn't too well known. Their songs are smart, moody, understated and their musicianship is high level. The new album should be out soon. Check them out if you can.
The guitar player comes from a band called 'Failure' who had an amazing track called 'The Nurse Who Loved Me'. (here is a not so great live version - http://www.videosift.com/video/The-Nurse-Who-Loved-Me-Failure - save it if you like.
