Then again, the fact that I can't remember and I am getting older, that isn't necessarily a good sign!

Besides, I know I'm not an uber-feminist. You'll know when you've met one of those. I'm not an angry feminist -- I have too much sympathy for the cultural and societal pressures that men are under to be angry at men in general and at one man specifically who can't see what is going on around them. It's like racism in the South, pre-60s. Can't even see the environment in which you have been brought up.

For all that, I do appreciate the apology. I did have a generally skittish feeling towards anything coming at me from "looris" despite my lack of specific memory. Having this apology sweeps that away and replaces it with a warmy and fuzzy -- aaaaaawwwwww, looris is cool! looris is thoughtful! looris is a mensch!
