the cardigans cover black sabbaths "changes".this was just too quirky to not post.the original song can be found on sabbaths fourth album coincidently called "vol 4".

Quirky's a good word for it, even the original. Somehow, in spite of considering myself to have been a pretty big fan of Sabbath (seen them live at least four or five times), I've never heard this song before. It's not one that apparently got much time in their shows, likely because it is definitely not their typical sound.

That said, I think I actually prefer the Cardigans' version a bit...her voice is just better for this kind of number.

Moving this video to enoch's personal queue. It failed to receive enough votes to get sifted up to the front page within 2 days.

In a particularly appropriate example of synchronicity (considering the Jung discussion going on elsewhere), as I was driving across Indiana coming home from an interview on Friday, the radio station started playing the Sabbath performance of this song.

It's enough to make me suspect that I have indeed heard it before, but just never recognized it as Sabbath. Isn't life strange?
