the band apart is a Japanese indie rock band of decent success with catchy riffs and garbled English lyrics. They frequently tour with American indie rock band Mock Orange in Japan, and this year came for a tour with them in the States before they both went back to Japan to tour for the band apart's new EP.

Actually, I just got the new single by these guys, called FADEOUTS(for JUSTICE), and it's so good. Definitely one of the best Japanese indie bands out there.
