from the BRAVO channels series counting down the top 100 scariest movie moments ever.i have to say i totally disagree with their countdown,the exorcist is FAR scarier than Jaws.in 1972 was the year this movie came out and it broke every rule,walked up to every line of decency...and then stepped over it.this movie was banned in some countries and protested in all of north america.
this movie is STILL my number one horror flick of all time and the really creepy part is that the book is even scarier.

oh..and btw.."your mother sucks cock in hell"...classic.

Yeah, my list would have had this movie at #1. Jaws and Alien were great movies but, imo, they didn't have as much of a reaction of revulsion as did The Exorcist. And how can you trust anybody that puts The Evil Dead at #76?
