now i gotta wait for the goddam commercial to load while i wait for my video to load??

It's great that Yahtzee can just put videos on the internet and just have them make money without having any sponsors or advertisers. It's even better that his videos can be reposted anywhere on the internet without advertisements, so that way his parent company makes money by having fewer page views.

Stop being such a self-entitled prick.

Thank you,
People who actually understand Yahtzee isn't doing this stuff for kicks on youtube anymore, actually does this as a job and makes money. Money that his employers get from their advertisers. Is all of this getting through to you? Maybe you should pirate his stuff, since sitting through a commercial (or god forbid doing something else while it plays) is obviously too much time wasted while you're - what was it? - wasting time on the internet.

To Everyone Else:

Thank You,
Some guy who really didn't mean to write this much and create a TL/DR post, but actually gets really irritated at this shit.

Ad-Supported Content > No content.

Logic: it works.

ok, calm down.

<rebuttal> i know its his job, and i know thats how websites make money. i wasn't commenting on the fact that there was a commercial on the internet. everyone knows people don't like loading time on videos, or should know it at least. if a company wants to put a commercial before a video, they should make it so the video doesn't take a very long time to load. THAT was my problem. i actually think its very convenient to have a commercial while the video is loading. gives me something to watch while i wait for my video. but if i have to wait for THAT video to load as well, there's something inherently wrong. the commercial shouldn't have to freeze every 2 seconds while it loads. thats the sort of thing that makes me not want to watch their commercial and (god forbid) DO SOMETHING ELSE ON THE INTERNET. (sarcasm-mode offOMGDOYOUSEEWHATIDIDTHERE????) that seems like bad advertising to me. </rebuttal>

that is the answer i'm giving you and if you should wish to keep arguing about such a silly topic as someone complaining about commercials on the internet and namecalling you will be promptly ignored

I never thought I'd ever see someone defend a commercial so vehemently...

him or me?

sorry, I meant escape. I was actually going to say something along the lines of muting my TV when the commercials are on but I didn't want him to firebomb my house
