fuck we're stupid.
I am guilty
Where I live, the county courthouse said that their computer software was not y2k compliant, and that they needed millions of dollars to update. (Just like the Department of Motor Vehicles and alot of other government agencies).
I believed them and didn't pay a court ordered fine from a previous problem (because I'm stupid).
I just knew their computers would fail and my records would be lost, and they would never figure it out.
My plan is the only thing that failed On Y2k( a night in jail..pay the fine). Oh well! Things will only be better in 2001!
arvanasays...It always bugged me that humanity managed to pull together and completely avert a possible disaster on Y2K, and yet that success was non-news.
Apparently only the fear of disaster was a good story.
ElJardinerosays...I'm still drinking water from my trashcan.
Better to be safe than sorry.
siftbotsays...Tags for this video have been changed from 'y2k, everything, terrible, fear' to 'y2k, everything, terrible, fear, eit, psa, leonard nimoy' - edited by yoghurt
RhesusMonksays..."Need for flushing water is Number Two." Yes. Yes it is.
