(CDI) of Phoenix, Maryland, USA (acting as Main Demolition Contractor to the Green Beret Foundation of San Antonio,Texas) sets a NEW WORLD RECORD for "the tallest manmade structure ever felled through the use of explosives" in their successful explosives felling of the 2,000 foot tall, structural steel WECT (Raycom) Television Tower at 12:47 PM on Thursday, September 20, 2012. It took 21 pounds of explosives to take down the tower in Bladen County.
