I don't know bobbob, I give you Batman 3, as exhibit A. It was more of a homage to the 60s cheesy, camp TV show. The worst Batman ever in my opinion.

I think superhero flicks only work when they take it at least semi-seriously. Although that's a big ask for something like Wonder Woman. Invisible jet? Please.

The guy in the purple at 1:30 looks like Mel Brooks from his "Good to be the King" days. New Wonder Woman movie not in works...Lynda Carter is still so strongly associated with the role they can't cast anyone new.
