A Chapter in Paddle Sport history from 1957 to 1963 as assembled and narrated by the late Volker Beer. An incredibly genuine post with outstanding photography and video from over 40 years ago.

^nkbeer: I hope to see the longer version soon. Were you related to Volker? My respect and condolences. I just stumbled across this video while watching Eel and American river runs on youtube and was simply amazed by Beer's adventures and travels across western Europe. The quality of the photographs and video from 40 years ago is outstanding and his account is a true gift.
