Henry Bekkering... He is from Taber, Alberta (Canada) Attended Myers High School Class of 2003. He is currently a Sophomore attending Eastern Washington University(in America).www.ewu.edu.

Being from Canada might explain how he got picked up by Eastern Washington and not a PAC-10 School or Schools from the SEC Or ACC. Not many recruiters have made it out to Canada. Was an honor student in high school.

Are we sure that wasn't a 8 foot goal? That guy has some mad leaps. He doesn't look that tall either.

My brother taught Henry in school, and I watched him play a couple times. One game I saw was against a very poor team, and Henry dunked over (and I mean over) pretty much everyone he was guarded by. At one point he got undercut by someone while about 4 feet up and landed hard on one arm. He was out for a while, and then came back - and after fooling the coach into thinking he was OK he played for a bit with his other hand (before the coach noticed and took him back off the court). Nice guy - but probably would be further ahead if he'd done high school at some powerhouse school in the states. Basketball is fairly big in southern Alberta, but it's still a small pond.

they don't play organized sports in Canada all you kids should know this

Alberta sucks balls, I know because I am from Alberta, and Ralph Klein F#@%ed it up for the next generations.
