The House debates the U.S. Troops Readiness, Veterans' Health and Iraq Accountability Act. The House of Representatives has a choice: either endorse the President's open-ended commitment to the war in Iraq or demand accountability, support our troops and set a timeline for the phased redeployment of our troops.

“I think if we were to do what Speaker Pelosi and Congressman Murtha are suggesting, all we will do is validate the Al Qaeda strategy,” the vice president told ABC News. “The Al Qaeda strategy is to break the will of the American people … try to persuade us to throw in the towel and come home, and then they win because we quit.”

As if the Vice President has the will of the people at heart, he's too happy to send American troops to the canon fodder machine that is Iraq. America made Iraq the playground of Al Qeada not the other way round. Suggested more conflict more troops as a solution is about as delusional as very troop increase LBJ and Nixon made. Look how that turned out. The same rhetoric was there. "If we pull out of Vietnam, the communists will have won"
