What a difference 60 years makes: the '09 Ole Miss KKK Rally

To protest the dropping of a football game song that encouraged students to chant "the south shall rise again", the KKK staged a 10 minute protest before the Ole Miss/LSU game.

Here almost in its entirety, are the protest, and the counter protest. NSFW for language.

To think that 50 or so years ago, these guys dominated the campus, and now they are laughingstocks.

"The Mississippi White Knights of the KKK held a protest at the Ole Miss/LSU game because the chancellor of Ole Miss stopped the band from playing a song called "From Dixie With Love." The song is a medley of "Dixie" and "The Battle Hymn of the Rebuplic." At the end of the song during the game, some students chant "The South Will Rise Again," instead of the last line of the song."

eh bigotry will always be around. it appeals to stupid, desperate people because it's easy to understand

it's also kind of funny that the crowd calls them "faggots." i guess bigotry against homosexuals is still ok?
