As a DX1 fan, this is a bit how I feel about DXHR. I'm sure it's a decent game, but . . . I'll stick with JC for now.

I'm a pretty huge DX1 fan, and DXHR didn't disappoint me at all. Pretty awesome game all in all, you can easily leave yourself with a negative image of a game if you listen to all the biggest whiners of the internet.

I'm enjoying it as well, but I think it's hardly unfair to say they made compromises from the original to appeal to today's mass market audiences.>> ^sillma:

Aye aye, but that's how it goes nowadays unfortunately. Much better game than I expected it to be, nowadays I have very low expectations on games that claim to claim any former glory, since they usually fail miserably. Only thing I was disappointed was the size of the world, the cities could've been larger with more side quests, but ah well it was properly long game anyhow. Gotta do the next playthrough with non-lethal approach
