The New Orleans Film Society is going to show this short along with the other four nominated live action shorts next Wednesday.

Let's see what the others think, raven.

Actually, I saw the whole thing at a local screening today. When it first started I groaned, because A) I really dislike musicals, B) In particular I really dislike west side story, C) The concept really seemed awful at first glance... then they started in one the whole Hummus Hut vs Kosher King subplot (which is not really apparent in this trailer) and I was won over. I found it incredibly funny and irreverent as both a political commentary and as a send up of all the worst aspects of musical theater.

The very idea of "worse' and 'musical" in the same sentence......MwAAhhnggh!!

I never got into musical plays. Last night Simpsons' episode had musical pieces. Ugh!
