The question asked was "Is the earth flat?" and all she heard was "How many triglycerides does it take to make Pluto when the robitussin comes and the earths uh"?

Why stop with Sherri? Cancel the damn thing altogether, and replace with re-runs of the farm report...or better, Teletubbies, so you won't shock the devoted during the transition....

Kind of reminds me of this. There's certain things that someone can wave off as "I don't need to know about that kind of thing" or "I've never really thought about that" - but the general shape of the Earth is not one of those things.

I hate to harp on this, but I would just like to talk to this person. Have you seen a globe? What did you think that was? Have you since thought it through and convinced yourself on an answer one way or the other?

the fact that she's on the tv and seen as someone with views that are worth listening to is extremewly sickening.

there's a big difference between panicking on live TV and asserting the flatness of the earth. look again at the original clip... i am inclined to believe her, in the fast paced world of live TV she just got the wrong end of the stick and was too eager to carry on her point and dig herself into a hole. she is guilty of not listening to the question, as opposed to honestly believing that the world might be flat.
