AP: Dutchman Joran van der Sloot, long the prime suspect in the 2005 disappearance of an Alabama teen in Aruba, has confessed to killing a young Peruvian woman in his Lima hotel room, a police spokesman said.

Wait wait wait... that last part about him trying to extort money out of the holloway family to disclose the location of the other body and how she died... what's that? First I've heard that accusation...

If the holloways were contacted by him in some way to try to extort money, wouldn't that be something they could totally "sting" him on?

According to this article it sounds like the extortion thing is an effort by the FBI to entrap him in a different wire-fraud charge (which seems to have worked to an extent, but he went and killed someone else before they could act on it).

I hope he's taken out by killers hired by the family (now families) of the victim(s).
