I agree with Farhad2000.

I guess I hadn't really thought of it that way. I liked how it portrayed the uneventful nature of your average convoy as well as the reactions of locals. The people are generally friendly and the children always wave.

there's better examples of the humanity during war-personally, can't wait till our boys get back from the protraction expedition....war veterans on the street may take some of the edge off a nation of passive-aggressive wankers, and their out-of-touch, programmed politics-

Yeah, there are plenty of better examples of humanity during the war. I wasn't really thinking the video showed humanity. I suppose I liked it more because its just familiar to me. I thought this just showed the more mundane every day experience. Drive around, see the people, nothing happens. Thats your average day during deployment. Could they have put better music to it? Sure. Is "Shoot to Thrill" really that poor of a choice? I think given the mundane nature of the video it's not. Didn't even occur to me until it was mentioned here. If it were a video like the one showing Blackwater driving around randomly shooting up cars that would be different. I just hear a rock song set to some convoy footage.
