great list, but no Ron Artest? C'mon, he's a legend of the cheap-shot!

not sure how a bat to the knee is below spitting in the face...

I'm pretty sure this is before the Ron Artest incident, because that minor league play was described as "this past season", and it was quite a few years ago.

Ah OK I was interested enough to look it up. Izzy Alcantara kicked the catcher in '01, Artest fight was in '04, and this video made somewhere in between. Although I don't know if that would quite qualify anyway, as the ignominy of the incident could not have been achieved without fan participation.

Not surprising how a video four years old can be *dead but that's the way it is sometimes...
