These Are the Stakes: 2006 GOP Campaign Ad

Quboidsays...

Is this for real? That should be the democrat's ad! Obviously mistakes were made with regards to terrorism in the Clinton administration but the last 6 years has been one big recruiting bonanza for Al-Qaeda!

Anything to get the attention away from Iraq and Foley I guess.

Here's the Audio for the Spot....."On September 11, 2001, The United States was faced with a dillemma: "How do we stop an enemy that came from a country, that hasn't had a middle ages, that we have armed to the teeth and let in our backdoor through blind inattention to citizenship laws and leniency, and still remain true to the ideals and principals of our Forefathers? "We Can't!" So the next best thing, is more diversion in the form of meaningless scheduled elections, race-baiting to stir up dissent amoung the citizenry, and plenty of organized sports and low gas prices, to insure that we can keep the attention whwre it really needs to be, and away from us, the ones who can'not be named.
....rest assured, as soon as it looks like "you the people" are on to us....we'all will create yet another diversion for your apparatus, and for our amusement.
Now, Get out and Vote! What??! Are you un-American???

Farhad2000says...

If the american people are swayed towards the GOP now at this time... it will just show that people are stupid and fearful and don't deserve the liberities they are slowly losing under the current administration.

choggiesays...

....and what liberites on the list, that I don't already enjoy in America, would those be?
I wan'st at the Dem's or the GOP's pep rally. Who has the shiniest costumes, tightest routines, and most of all, how will i FEEEEEL if I side with either group?

theo47says...

These ads are clearly backfiring. As Quboid said above, the GOP is pretty much inadvertantly airing attack ads against itself. All those threats just magnify how much the GOP's foreign policy and homeland security policies have failed.

So - thanks, GOP, for the free ad.

Hey, this comment is coming from one who takes no sides, purports no affiliation, and thinks that the current skeletal remnants of the electoral process in this country will yeild nothing but more of the same sheit. What do they say about people who do the same thing over and over, expecting different results, but producing the same ones over and over and over....its called INSANITY, and that's the state of politics in this country, and most of the world.
But of course, our vote can turn things around!
Here's mine, a vote for small, regional governments in the U.S., as in....Some state should review their constitution, and drop some balls, and seceed. The first state that does, depending on the topography and availability of fresh ground water, will be my new home.
