Wow, if that's all true it's pretty scary.

I wonder if there are comparable circumstances surrounding the Exxon Valdez? I know that a lot of survivors of that disaster never lived long enough to receive the compensation package eventually agreed to by the courts.

I seem to remember BP had some activists killed off in Africa somewhere. Don't remember where I heard it. I'd be interested if anyone else heard of this.

There is quite a lot of extra information on this event and BP here at Democracy Now. I'd love to see anything on the above Africa incident if anyone can find some information on it--I tried my Google searches and didn't find any direct news links.
