This is a surf machine made by Wave Loch Inc.

This particular one is the largest so far, called "Bruticus Maximus", it pumps almost 150,000 gallons per minute, and cost $2 million to build & install. Bruticus Maximus is at Wave Loch's headquarters, Wave House, in Mission Beach California.

Located in thier bar & grill, where they have a sand floor, and you can sit in hammocks if you want to. Sweetness....

Also, nobody from Wave Loch ever tried to compare it to ocean surfing, leeweek. For starters, the wave surface goes TWICE AS FAST as ocean waves. I think that alone would be much more challenging for riders of any experience, than riding a 40ft ocean wave.

Btw leeweek, the water is 4 inches, and there's special foam underneath it. Almost 1000 horsepower is used to pump the water.
