The Truth Behind 9/11

A little bit different kind of conspiracy theory. Rather than one based on conjecture, pseudo-science, and insinuation, this is a well-researched academic endeavor.

from Google Video:
"In this lecture by Michel Chossudovsky, he blows away the smokescreen put up by the mainstream media, that 9/11 was an attack on America by ... Tout ยป "Islamic terrorists". Through meticulous research, he has uncovered a military-intelligence ploy behind the September 11 attacks, and the cover-up and complicity of key members of the Bush Administration.

According to Chossudovsky, the "war on terrorism" is a complete fabrication based on the illusion that one man, Osama bin Laden, outwitted the $40 billion-a-year American intelligence apparatus. The "war on terrorism" is a war of conquest. Globalisation is the final march to the "New World Order", dominated by Wall Street and the U.S. military-industrial complex.

September 11, 2001 provides a justification for waging a war without borders. Washington's agenda consists in extending the frontiers of the American Empire to facilitate complete U.S. corporate control, while installing within America the institutions of the Homeland Security State."

I may not support this administration but this "professor" is a bit whacked. Yeah he makes some points that can be justified but the whole terrorism thwarting our "airtight security" is not as tough as we think. Unfortunately it was just a matter of time.

hey, why do you think someone would get so upset, when the symptoms of the worlds ills are made spectacle, and not the causes....this is why we have the denial surrounding 9/11 on both sides-the fishy aspects of it, take no degrees or science to sense, that the spin is absurd, reeking of some crap the MIC could pile high-and the "smart" people want to talk only about the absurdity of taking down two huge buildings in the center of New York City, and can't imagine the inhumanity of it being a coop-style project-(which it obviously fucking was)....fomenting more denial and diversion.....alll they need is for the sheep to feed and sleep when told, and a few more years of cranking out idiots form the growing population of severely uneducated locals and aliens, and very soon, like John Belushi said on weekend update years ago....
"One day, you'll wake up, and the street signs will be written in Mongolian!"

There are groups of influential and powerful at war with one another-and folks like the people in the Towers, like you and me, are caught in the middle.....

Really....if the stream of blah blah that comes from this post, involves mostly asenine rants about how stupid conspiracies are, or how absurd it is to imagine it being possible, it's exactly the gauge you may use to see how effective the lie is......

@54:24-This gentleman's comments about Anti-war movement-That it can't simply be ineffectual rallies, it must be fueled by a cohesive knowledge of what is actually happening-not a bunch of war bad peace good wankers, like they show every time in the media we have at our disposal(term used euphamistically for the device that grinds garbage in yer sink!)

And the best way to keep monkeys minds off what is real???? Feed them on what is not.
Infotainment, windbags like Maher and Moore, Angelina's twisted fucking adoptions, Oprah and her fat-skinny/skinny-fat ass helping kids grow corn in college, and any number of fast-food, crappy-meals, like Dying Sawyer with Hackmenhandjob in Iran...etc...etc...ad.Nausem..

Wake the hell up, or stay asleep, shit, or die on the pot, like the king of rock and roll, but do something already...this shit is tired, sick, and dying.

wow! I got an eternal upvote; I don't even know what that is. And from choggie no less.

The video already speaks volumes of truth. However when you say that people are caught in the middle I have to disagree a bit, at least on the part about the people in the towers. I'm not gonna pull a Ward Churchill and call them "little Eichmans," but I would say they were part of the game. Certainly, most of them were great people just doing their jobs and not really wishing any kind of malice on the world. But they were working at one of the epicenters of this massive struggle among financial groups, military-industrial complexes, and oil firms. After all, it was the "World Trade Center" in the heart of Wall Street.

Just to reiterate, the people in the towers were innocent civilians who did not deserve to executed in such a horrific manner, but unlike some of the victims, those working in the financial sectors were part of this deadly game. They are more like pawns than bystanders.

the real lol, may come, when the world knows the truth....the one that puts fiction, and speculatory history to shame...

This sifter's humble opinion...People have been so well-groomed to believe "experts", and spin, and that robotically so, that by the time the world's 10 year olds are adults, meaning will be as malleable as Play-Dough, and the apparatus for discernment and derivation of meaning from evidence, as worthless as a blob of the same with the lid left off.......and the distractions that made this possible, the systematic take-over of the cognitive process, will be the most powerful tool of our herders.....

sounds like the future as predicted in "idiocracy." however, i think discernment and critical thinking will still have worth, just no one will value them. which i guess in a roundabout way does make them worthless. bah, they have an intrinsic value regardless of humanity's desire for them.

The question always come back to:
What about how this administration has handled ANYTHING - Katrina, Iraq, etc. - would leave anyone to believe they're capable of tying their own shoelaces, much less an impossibly vast conspiracy?

This is serious. We're supposed to be a country that honors Habeus Corpus, does not condone torture, and most of all does not condone pre-emptive nuclear strikes against the rest of the world!

All other claims aside.. these three items need to be at the forefront of our principles in relation with the rest of the world.

It would appear, in light of the buffoon in need of impeach, and his cronyism, that he is only one of many tools....there is more likely than not, a complex, win-lose-win-lose dynamic, through the recent 150 years of history-using the world as a chessboard as leaders have always envisioned, yet now only recently in history have they been able to implement on such a grand scale.....the more impossible it seems, naturally, the more likely it is, that such complex organization and connections among factions and groups, could pull collective wool, keeping us guessing while we must not stop working......

Works even better, the more humans are involved......like the very fucking idea, of having amnesty for 30 million illegals in the USA, which will only create, more instability, as they metastasize into 150 million, in five to seven years....

A cover of humans for the shit storm of further breakdown it creates, making it so easy to demand compliance, when race wars, class struggle, etc....foment mobs and more violence....

Bush should be reprimanded, by Satan himself, for the small part, he has had in this vortex....

Insulate yourself in the notion that the political process will yield justice..., and buy the latest wonder cream when the shiny commercial comes on, with expert testimonials-

Or, live each day like it is today...and be happy

Cause', there is point of no return, to the inevitable clusterflock to come......

aaronfrsays...

theo, watch it again. you are making the mistake in believing that such an event would have been the result of a single administration acting (or inacting). however, when you are talking about the collective efforts of government organizations and narrow-minded ideologues that span decades, it is not really a question of conspiracy. it is a question of policy. whether the bush administration had foreknowledge of the attacks, or directly assisted in them (unlikely), is beyond the point. rather, taken in a broader sense what we are seeing is the natural outgrowth of international military and financial policies. the right hand does not have to know what the left hand is doing for them both to be connected to the same body.

Until documents come forth saying things like "Okay, let's go ahead and blow up the WTC. Signed, GWBush" I am not going to believe this stuff. It is just so unlikely that the government would let these people live (in the US or at all) to make their claims if they were right.

Under the Patriot Act, the government has full power to silence these people, why haven't they been silenced? Because the government DOESN'T CARE. And neither do I.

Wow, look at that logic!

Doesn't occur to you that silencing everyone on the internet who thinks 911 might be a consipracy would be a million times harder than flying a plane into a building for political gain, does it?

You're right about one thing though. The government definitely does not care either way.
