The Reason for the Gaza War

The reason Israel decided it didn't want any more rockets fired on it from Gaza.

Depends. Some people see these things and are inspired for revenge, particularly those that are directly affected. I don't think everyone would see that person lying on the ground and say to themselves "This has got to stop!" if it were their parent, spouse, or child.

This video didn't need the graphic bomb wreckage shots to make its point. I didn't upvote this because of it.

Fighting a war for peace is like screwing for virginity.

There is countless videos that can show the flipside of the Israel's inhumane treatment of Palestinian people. This video proves nothing. Hell I can go to downtown Baghdad and make the Americans look like barbarians.

Bombing the shit out of Gaza is just ensuring that a new generation of Palestinians will hate Israel for the rest of their lives.

I'm sad to say that I doubt the power-brokers in Israel will ever figure that out.

rougy - so the way the Palestinians have bombed this generation of Israelis is ok, right? As long as the Palestinians are fine, all is well.

How do people not get it...

It all escalates. I imagine there are thousands of stories on both sides of the Gaza strip of people who have lost loved ones to this moronic competition. I've seen many news stories through the years of the Israeli tanks killing civilians on their sorties (or the jet fighters etc), and I've seen many stories of how the terrorists have claimed Israeli lives.

There is no right and wrong anymore. You could trace the conflict back to Moses invading and staking out Israel for the Jews back in biblical times and it wouldn't make a lick of difference.

Pointless war is pointless. Stop aiding both sides until they come to their senses.
