The Orbits of 2299 Exoplanet Candidates

Nearly 2300 planets are drawn, to scale, orbiting around a single star (though they actually orbit 1000+ stars). These are exoplanet candidates found with Kepler.

The vast majority of them orbit well within the orbit of Mercury, Venus, and Earth, and very quickly. This is because Kepler looks for multiple transits of a planet across a star, and of course more of these are going to be seen if they orbit very quickly.
