Trancecoachsays...No David Gilmour? or Steve Vai?
nocksays...Sorry. "Several of" wouldn't fit in front of the title.
No David Gilmour? or Steve Vai?
ulysses1904says...Please remove the word "iconic" from the English language. That word has come out of nowhere to become the latest must-use hipster word. Everyone and everything that is remotely recognizable by two people now gets referred to as iconic.
If something is famous then why do we need a word to remind us that it's famous?
chingalerasays...Hipsters can't hi-jack that word (is that Bono in your avatar?) ulysses, they're only allowed to co-opt it...OH, and most of em look silly doin' the 2000's version, all the while reeking of ineffectual pretension touting sub-standard grooming and last-century literature! Oh, and if you're gonna call yourself a real hipster you'd better dig bebop and trad jazz, otherwise......POSER!!
..and please put-out the foul ciggy from Belarus, the shits' nasty and your teeth are mustard....Oh, and tell Betty there to shave her legs and you, TAKE A BATH!!.
chingalerasays...Some of these aren't even guitar solos as much as they are opening vamps or memorable riffs...These guys are cool and it looks like a lotta fun and all to put pop culture into the Blendtech TB-621-20....Street performing, internet resume and income-brilliant.
nocksays...Uhhh....chill out guys. I just thought it was a neat video.

siftbotsays...Tags for this video have been changed from 'Clapton, Beatles, Sultans of Swing, Crazy Train' to 'cdza, journey of guitar solo, Clapton, Beatles, Sultans of Swing, Crazy Train' - edited by xxovercastxx
articiansays...Vai: I thought the same thing. Most people don't know him though. He's a virtuoso, but not a pop-culture icon for his music (unfortunately). A good example being that I grew up with all of this music, and while I know the name of David Gillmour, even I would have to go look him up to remind myself of his work.
