shuacsays...Sarzy with the PTA scoop, as usual.
Sarzysays...Man, I cannot stop watching this. PTA is in a league of his own, no doubt about it. *promote
siftbotsays...Self promoting this video and sending it back into the queue for one more try; last queued Monday, May 21st, 2012 11:57am PDT - promote requested by original submitter Sarzy.
shuacsays...It's about time L. Ron Hubbard got some scrutiny from Hollywood. I wonder if Tom Cruise was approached for this role? <snicker, snicker>
kymbossays...Where's he been for the past five years?

Working on various projects. I believe he was trying to get this made for something like a couple of years before it actually happened. You would think that being PT Anderson would get you an automatic greenlight to make whatever you want, but bafflingly enough, it does not. Clearly, something is very, very wrong in Hollywood. If it weren't for Megan Ellison, it's possible that this movie would have never gotten made.
Trancecoachsays...Amy Adams, Philip Seymour Hoffman, and Joaquin Phoenix... Seacorps better have their shit ready.
PoweredBySoysays...Suck it, Skyfall.
shuacsays...Something wrong in Hollywood? No, it's just business as usual: summer blockbusters make all the money (and therefore get all the green lights) and artistic films like PTA's get shuffled around in development for years. No new tale to tell in Hollywoodland.
Fantomassays...Well colour me intrigued.
nach0ssays...Hey, thanks for sifting that. That does look very interesting.
Xaielaosays...Wait shouldn't the music be a simple but fast

Sarzysays...I think I've watched this at least a couple dozen times. If I could pay full price to just see this minute-and-a-half trailer in a theatre, and then go home, I'd happily do it.
Auger8says...No but he did screen it for him and apparently he didn't like it heh.
