...fuckin'ell, is this what Sunday schools' like in the U.K.?....dude!

This is pretty much straight out of the bible. The Old Testament God is pretty awful. Of course, when you point that out, apologists tend to say that you are taking it out of context and that His heinous acts are somehow justified in some way that we mere mortals are just to stupid to comprehend.

Please make of the stupid bible, whatever they like. If it's bad, then it must be a metaphor, or something so grand that we puny mortals can't understand (which pretty much would destroy the idea of writing the story down for other people to read, because they also wouldn't understand). If it's nice and fluffy... OH the joy of god's love.. He's so nice and powerful and eternal.. well FUCK THE BIBLE and it's completely pathetic, inconsistent stories.

Are there any more of these out there or is this the first one?

hixsonj: as far as i know, it's the first one. I sure hope the author will make more, God* knows there's a few other "fun" stories in that science-fiction book
