In the last episode, Charles Hazlewood explores the turbulent final years of the composer's life, and discovers he suffered a series of personal tragedies : his father and four children died, his wife Constanze fell ill and a downturn in the economy meant money was scarce. Yet despite this, Mozart managed to create some of his greatest work, including three final symphonies and his extraordinary chamber music.
