The Disappearing Train - Time lapse video (13 sec)

This footage of the Montreal Metro station was made by an amateur and processed with After Effects. It's very impressive the effects amateurs can achieve these days. Looks like something out of The Matrix.

Moving this video to kronosposeidon's personal queue. It failed to receive enough votes to get sifted up to the front page within 2 days.

It looks like a simple morphing between frames, with some vague control points thrown in to give the fading some motion.. I have an ancient piece of software from 1995 that could do this, although not as slickly and artifact free.

But the effect is certainly used neatly!

it would also have been nice to have it surface and dive into the tracks like a whale.
