Terrence McKenna on The Shamen acid track

Trippy.
rougysays...

Terrence was trying to teach what some people consider anathema.

That it's not about "me." It's about "we."

That "me" is usually the most selfish and criminal of motivations. The "me" almost always evolves into small groups of "me's" who work together to enrich themselves to the detriment of their community and environment.

It's the "me's" who ship jobs overseas and still demand huge taxcuts for the richest 1%.

It's like the industrialist who pollutes on the poor side of a big city, but screams bloody murder when the yards in his gated community aren't well kept.
