relnsays...From Youtube:
Daryl Jones is an australian volunteer aid worker duped by Palestinian propaganda propaganda to come to their aid but later realized that they were engaged in a bloodlust game to destroy the lives of children.
She recounts how Palestinians displayed photos of bodies, "gouged and pitted, torn. We were told this is from torture from the Israelis." Later, when she saw a Palestinian child blow up in front of her face, she realized that the ripped apart bodies were the result of human booby traps that the Palestinians used against the Israelis.
She was featured in "The Road to Jenin" film by French director Pierre Rehov.
theo47You're so eager to demonize Palestinians you can't even find a documentary with English subtitles?
Farhad2000Question your sources. Then question your reasoning. For something that would be this *cough important Darly Jones the aid worker doesn't seem to exist outside this video. Let's cut the BS, Do you just think all Muslims and Palestinians are some crazed people just matrying themselves at Israel for the last 40 odd years?

relnsays...Ok, what I am seeing here is that people will believe almost any information that is pro-palestinian/anti-israel and discredit anything that is pro-israel/anti palestinian. That's a good way to get a balanced viewpoint on issues.
relnsays...Theo, there was absolutely no reason for you to downvote this video. I think its something to bring up in the sift talk.
I am not desperate to demonize palestinians I just think people should get a chance to hear both sides.
It seems only anti-Israel propoganda is worth your time.
gwaanThis is simplistic ill-informed nonsense.
Firstly, the woman begins by saying: "When I arrived in Jenin I knew nothing about anything." Not a good way to begin - historical perspective is important when your dealing with people who have been suppressed and attacked for over fifty years. Secondly, she is clearly deeply upset and rather hysterical - this is hardly reliable testimony, and not the best video to support your argument. Thirdly, this video seems to be claiming that the Palestinian children were hurt not by Israeli soldiers but by human booby traps that the Palestinians used against the Israelis. The Palestinians are not so cruel, or stupid as to accidentally kill their own children. Fourthly, I agree with the woman in the video - it is an awful thing that all the boys from 10-16 are involved, are fighters. And I agree with the man - it is hard to imagine how desperate one must be to have to use children as fighters. Unlike Israeli kids, who live in relative luxury and security, Palestinian kids don't - they must fight to survive, they can't hide behind watch-towers, ilegal walls, tanks and helicopters. The principal weapon they have in the fight for freedom is themselves.
joedirtWhy is there always a random resurgence of pro-Israeli propanda ever so often. Look, give all your money to Israel, and go away. Most people could care less about Iraq, and that is a war with out troops in it.
So really, really, just like Israel likes it, no one cares about Israel. (Or if you really do, you know better than to discuss it on anonymous internet forums... especially video ones)
So quit with the anti-Semitism. (Yes, Palestinians are Semites.. how ironic..)
Farhad2000No. That's just the way you paint it. Am neither pro-Israel or pro-Palestine, am pro-peace in what should have been the land of convergence for 3 leading religions of the world.
You on the other hand seem to derive your entire views on the conflict from blogs like Justify This!, who just advocate hate and violence and misunderstanding.

relnsays..."The Palestinians are not so cruel, or stupid as to accidentally kill their own children."
Well then I guess you dont know the palestinians. Boy do you have a lot to learn. Most palestinians are not so cruel, unfortunately many are.
joedirtThat is the fastest bunch of downvotes ever. Guess it is more than just theo.. BTW, I think someone did the same thing with same video once before...
relnsays...Thank you everyone for proving my point!!
Anti-Israel bias is very much real. How many anti-Israel/pro-palestinian videos did I downvote?
theo47rein, unless you speak French, you can't understand what the hell the kids are saying -- that's my point.
It's a lousy submission on that point alone, simplistic politics aside.
Farhad2000It's not Anti-Israel bias. It's called democratic suppression of ignorant bullshit.
relnsays...call it what you like
gwaan"Most palestinians are not so cruel, unfortunately many are." - you are really arguing that some Palestinians accidentally kill their children????
"Well I guess you don't know the palestinians." Have you ever met a Palestinian, an Arab or a Muslim in your life? Have you ever been to Palestine, the Middle East or an Islamic or Arab country?
relnsays...It doesnt matter. I sent you articles. I could show you accounts from people. I could even get you personal interviews from palestinians who will tell you what's really going on but in the end you'll just say its anti-palestinian Israeli propoganda.
So what could I do. People believe what they want even if the truth is shoved in their faces.
You cant truly want peace with a closed mind.
theo47I think rein just wanted his paranoia about hippie liberals confirmed.
To me, what makes for an intelligent debate on politics is one's willingness to keep an open mind about their own ideology, not just a recitation of someone else's talking points.
gwaanMy mind isn't closed - there are many fine Articles and videos on Israel/Palestine - many by Jews and Israelis - you just haven't posted any yet.
Read as much as you can on Israel-Palestine (and Islam). Read books by Elmer Berger, Alfred Lilienthal, Norman Finkelstein, Tanya Reinhart, Tony Judt, Benny Morris and Ilan Pappé. Read Jimmy Carter, Chomsky, Edward Said - and books by other Palestinians . As an American read the following famous article published by Harvard University (http://ksgnotes1.harvard.edu/Research/wpaper.nsf/rwp/RWP06). Read books written by Zionists and those who opose Zionism. The American media is biased - as many of my Israeli friends will admit. Try reading the BBC website for a more objective view. Also read the Israeli press - their discussion of the issues involved is a lot freer than in America.
If you truly care about Israel and Palestine - make your own mind up - don't let someone else make it up for you.
choggieFarhads camp of pro-peace is the one were all in, this upovte is for an end to bullshit.Peace, however, in the pardigm of money=strife, is unattainable.
The predictability of human response to stimuli, is how the brokers of the bullshit, keep them insulated and without blame...i.e. nameless.
Follow the herders, follow the money......the ants could shut the anthill down, if they stopped following the pheremonal signature, of the queens juicy ass.......but why would they?....they are used to a certain way of life.....
drunk with it. So are the sheeple.
relnsays..."(Or if you really do, you know better than to discuss it on anonymous internet forums... especially video ones)"
I came to this site to avoid all of the political crap going on. This was the only website I really liked until the anti-Israel crap started popping up all over the place. It just goes to show that one cant escape from the anti-israel attitudes that so prevalent in our societies.
Farhad2000Yes Reln am sure every American in this video is anti-Israeli... probably a closet Nazi too maybe? http://www.videosift.com/video/If-Americans-Knew
siftbotDiscarded due to negative votes by members
joedirtWhat anti-Israeli crap? Quit posting videos about Palestinians and Israelis, problem solved.
Geez, it's not some big conspiracy about people being anti-Israel... It's like this. Imagine you had this friend, and they were poor, but they kept getting into bar fights, and you had to keep bailing him out of jail. And posting his bond, and putting money in his comissary account when he was doing time on the weekends.. Eventually you get sick of paying all this money, when the guy keeps getting into fights everytime you go out. Sure, it's never his fault. It's the other guy who is always starting it... But you already spent like $10,000 in court costs bailing this guy out of jail.
relnsays...JD if you're referring to US foreign aid to Israel then you dont know why and probably dont want to know why the US gives Israel so much.
You think every hi-tech company in the world invests in israel because they have no choice? Some of the best medical and high tech products we have today were developed in Israel. If youre using an Intel PC its very possible that your intel chip was developed there. The US also gets there money's worth in military research and development thats done in Israel with some of the foreign aid money. Good intelligience costs a lot too.
theo47My God, rein.
Amazing the things people will tell themselves (much less believe) when led by blind faith.
relnsays...You'll even argue with facts. Why am I not surprised.
theo47Facts require context.
Even if what you say is true, that sure as hell is NOT why Israel receives foreign aid (and weapons, tanks, etc.) from us.
Sheesh.
joedirtZOMG reln... You have drank the blue and white kool-aid alright.. "Every tech company" does not invest there. Wow, so Intel has one or two 90nm fab there (where people hand carry wafers around a clean room). They have fabs in AZ, but I don't see billions of dollars going toward reservations.
As far as the intel Inside (tm) I used to power my masterbastion videos on my computer.. I can't see much that was developed exclusively in Haifa other than the Centrino crap that got intergrate into the Pentium Ms (which eventually made it into Core Duo stuff). But really.. come on. No one ever said there weren't a bunch of smart engineers living there. A lot left for the promised land in the 70s and 80s. I don't understand why US govt has to provide money and weapons. They should pay for the weapons, and not allow Intel anymore tax credits.
Oh, and Intel is 13% of the "tech industry" exports from Israel so it can't be that booming of business. And just FYI with 5,000 Intel employees... that's smaller than each of IBM's plants in Vermont and New York. Also probably smaller than every Intel site except Ireland (which is probably mostly just package and test).
