Tangerine Dream live in 1976 - Analogue Synth Heaven!

This is a rare TV appearence by the "Classic" lineup of Tangerine Dream. Here's an instrumentation list:

Froese: Mellotron Mark V & S400M, EMS VCS3, PPG 1020, Farfisa Piano and unidentified sequencer module (beside the VCS3).

Franke: Several Moog Modulars, Mellotron S400M, Elka Rhapsody 610 and ARP ProSoloist.

Baumann: ARP 2600, Elka Rhapsody 610, Mellotron S400M, Rhodes Piano (with cover removed) and several Moog Modules.

Enjoy this improvisation folks!

This is heaven for people who like all this sort of analogue gear. It may also represent hell for the original designers of MIDI. Nothing was standard back then- getting one piece of gear to "talk" to another was a crapshoot at best, a nightmare at worst.

This is Tangerine Dream while they were still awesome, before they got too new age for their own good.
