Would you believe there's a soap opera here in my country that is shamely ripping off the plot from this movie? It's a sort of teens soap opera, so there are a lot of characters, but the main plot envolves 2 sisters, and the younger one can only go out on dates if the older can goes as well, so they get her a boyfriend, and pay him, but then he doesn't accept the money because he's in love... It's so obvious it hurts me

Empire, 1. which country do you live in, and 2. you do know that this entire movie is a 'rip-off' or homage to Shakespeare's "Taming of the shrew" (which rhymes with "Ten things I hate about you"), right?
