Adam Offord Buxton (born June 7, 1969 in London) is an English comedian, who together with his comedy partner Joe Cornish wrote and presented the Channel 4 comedy series The Adam and Joe Show
He originally appeared in an episode of Channel 4's Takeover TV as a man called "Louise" dressed as a Klingon, complaining about Star Trek: The Next Generation being taken off screen. (See the external links below) In 1995, he then went on to host the show. Following this he, along with Joe Cornish created the The Adam and Joe Show for the same channel, which ran for four series.
Buxton co-wrote and acted in the Channel 4 mini-series The Last Chancers (aired Christmas 2004). Buxton performed character driven stand up comedy at the 2005 Edinburgh Festival, with a show was entitled "I, Pavel". He appears in the BBC comedy series Time Trumpet, which began its first series in August 2006.
Teaming up once again with Joe Cornish the pair have so far released 20 podcasts which went to be placed in the UK's top 10 most downloaded. Currently the pair are recording podcasts for Coca-Cola's 'New Music' initiative.
Buxton appears in new BBC Three comedy sketch show Rush Hour, which premiered on the 19th March 2007. Buxton plays many different characters throughout the show.
