Nice elaboration on the use of plastic bags in the arts.
Reminds me of the plastic bag in Sam Mendes's "American Beauty", commented in Todd Solondz's "Storytelling".

Got me all nostalgic......had to break out the still photos, and rewind the tapes.....the night they(who) tarred and feathered a block fulla parking meters in SF....pitch and pillow, the next morning, whilst makin' the chronicle, they were already sawing them off and replacing them....the new meters were shorter, and it was only then obvious, that they had been replaced before.....but never had they been so gloriously violated-

Gentlemen, please: there is more to "art" than Michelangelo and Picasso. This may not be very refined or sophisticated, but it is an original and (in my opinion) pretty cool idea.

And as Eklek mentioned, if you haven't yet watched American Beauty, it contains a very beautiful example of plastic bag art. As well as just being one of my most favourite movies of all time.
