I can't imagine that this is all that rare of an occurence. I don't necesarily mean an Arab and a Jew helping each other escape from skinheads on a subway persay, but I'm sure that this kind of an exchange happens on a daily basis in some capacity somewhere. An Arab person holds a door for someone not relizing it's a (*gasp) Jew or vis versa; or maybe a jewish person falls and breaks their leg and the only person that can help untill the ambulance gets there is an Arab doctor. Just little moments in time where two people who are "supposed" to hate each other relise for just a few seconds that they both live on the same planet. At the risk of sounding completely nieve why do those moments end? They walk their separate ways and the commonality that they feel and share becomes "out of sight out of mind."

I know I know... coom bya my lord COOM BYA!...
