it's practically verbatim and horribly embarrassing, and i can barely conceive of the actual sequence of little fuckups that led to this.
yet i don't recall hearing anything about it then, south of the border here. was it appropriately big news at the time up in canada?
ElJardinerosays...Personally I would rather bet on the speech coming from the same source rather than plagiarism. The same way some new buzz words suddenly pop up all over the place on Fox and talking heads defending the us goverment.
Xaxsays...Nope, it just came out this week. His speech-writer accepted responsibility for it and stepped down. It's reasonable to assume Harper didn't know about it, but on the other hand, enough with politicians having speech writers.
Write your own speeches, dammit; we're not interested in how eloquent your subordinates are.
