Where is the parody?

The parody is in the 'deluxe edition'. Star Wars is known for marketing something as a deluxe edition with minimal changes.

all of the things that lucas had wanted to put in A New Hope, but couldn't, that was then inserted into the Deluxe Edition.

most of them are represented here, including:

brighter lightsabers, to match the look of the later films.
jabba's appearance, in the hangar, just after the cantina.
stormtroopers on dewbacks.
more spacecraft in the battle of yavin.
a bigger explosion for the death star.

Ha! Ok, that's funny. Too subtle for me when I first wake up...
