Beautiful, but I would point out that there are plenty of top-down structures found in nature, including in our closest relatives, the apes.

We aren't very herd oriented -- if we were, perhaps anarchy for humans would result in peaceful cooperation.

Instead, because we're based on a species that is in perpetual conflict over dominance of the tribe, our anarchy would look like a bloody and unending quest for dominance.

Just look at Somalia.
