I'm all for eating animals, but i personally feel keeping the animal alive while fishing it seems like unnecessarily making it suffer.

Very interesting. This must be the type of show the movie God of Cookery is based on.

Fried/blanched fish with a live head is actually a pretty common dish. I'm not sure about the raw snake though... That's just nasty, I don't think it's edible. Animal cruelty aside, you can't get food fresher than stuff being cooked alive.

I have a hard time understanding how gutting an animal alive and then frying it is ok in anyones culture. It would of been just as fresh if it had been quickly killed right at the start.

yeah, seems unnecessary.
