I would say it was ok since I'm the one who chose to keep watching, but then I realized I couldn't look away no matter how much I wanted to. And by the time she gets to the worm, there's no turning back. However, as she awkwardly, and obviously painfully, lowered herself into that near-split, I feel you earned a glimmer of redemption.
