calvadossays...Not very dangerous if the pilot knows their stuff. I've landed in similar conditions more than once -- especially at Marathon, Ontario, great for turbulence, all those low hills waiting to smash up the stiff wind coming off Lake Superior. But I won't tell you my palms weren't sweaty -- I was wiping them on my pants whenever I figured I could spare a hand off the yoke for a second.
