This must be the band's big break? Wait a few seconds after the performance for the ending when they win 10,000.
This is a MUST-SEE for any fan of this group or music of this era.

This is an Ohio State talent contest in 1968.

Incredible sift

Saw this on regular TV once er twice...From Denton Texas, to Vallejo California.....go an figure....Church of God In Christ Family raise some soulful souls....

Awesome find SG. This is weird - it's definitely not their big break. They were already signed by CBS at this point. "Dance to the Music" was released in February 1968 and the single was a top 10 hit getting lots of radio time.

Imagine having to follow that with your act at a talent show.
